Security systems must follow the Preventive Systems Manual (PSM) approved by Administrative Resolution No. (13) of 2025, with SIRA-approved devices, required system-health monitoring, camera retention minima by category, and prohibitions (for example, hidden cameras or over-reach of external views) unless expressly authorised.
South Africa at a glance
Construction site guarding and patrols in South Africa are delivered in line with the Private Security Industry Regulation Act 56 of 2001 and PSIRA’s mandate to regulate the private security industry. Our officers are PSIRA-registered, graded for their roles and operate under the applicable Code of Conduct and local by-laws.
Do temporary sites still need SIRA approvals?
Yes. For Dubai projects, equipment must be SIRA-approved, and for many sites you will need plan/system certification. We handle submissions end-to-end.
What retention does a construction site need?
The PSM sets minimum recording durations by category for Dubai; we engineer storage for your exact classification and fps/quality requirements, often starting from at least 31 days. For South African projects, we design retention based on risk profile, policy and any insurer or client stipulations.
How do you prevent tampering?
We harden reachable devices (IK10), secure NVRs, enable anti-tamper, and connect system-health monitoring so failures or sabotage are flagged early.
